The selection of Makassar City Tourism Ambassadors in 2022 held by the Makassar City Tourism Office and the Makassar City Indonesian Tourism Ambassadors Association took place on March 13-18, 2022. The activity began with a technical meeting, written test, photoshoot, quarantine, interview test, material briefing , Burning Night, Personal Briefing and Beauty Class, and the Grand Final which was held on Friday (18/3/2022).
In the grand final of the Makassar City Tourism Ambassador election in 2022, there are 8 categories of winners, namely 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Best Performance, Best Intelligence, Favorite, Best Photogenic, Best Social Media. During the grand final, there were several judges including Putri Duta Wisata Indonesia 2021, Head of Makassar City Tourism Office, Head of Makassar City Adwindo, and other judges.
One of the finalists who managed to qualify as Runner Up 1 in the Selection of Tourism Ambassadors for Makassar City 2022, Muhammad Ilhamsyah Arifin, is a student of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University. Ilham got this position after going through several selections and tests which were carried out for 5 days and were assessed by the jury.
