1. Background

The Industrial System Optimization and Engineering Laboratory is one of the academic and research laboratories within the field of Industrial Engineering. This laboratory focuses on the development, application, and evaluation of optimization methods, engineering analysis, and decision-support approaches to improve the performance of industrial systems.

In response to the increasing complexity of modern industrial challenges, the laboratory plays an important role in supporting teaching, research, and community engagement activities related to system optimization, production planning, logistics, supply chain management, operational efficiency, and industrial engineering decision-making. The laboratory is designed to facilitate students, lecturers, and researchers in developing analytical capabilities, computational skills, and practical problem-solving competencies.

Through its academic and research activities, the laboratory contributes to the advancement of industrial engineering knowledge by integrating theoretical concepts, quantitative methods, simulation, and optimization-based approaches.
