Saturday (June 25, 2022) The Department of Industrial Engineering carried out one of the tridarma activities of higher education, namely community service. This dedication welcomes single parents to open up business opportunities in it. At this time, the business opportunity that was carried out was making liquid soap itself by taking into account the interests of the environment by using materials that are safe and do not pollute the environment.
This activity was explained about being environmentally friendly by one of the lecturers of the Department of Industrial Engineering Unhas, namely Ir. Kifayah Amar, ST., MT., Ph.D and presented by one of the speakers from the District Environmental Service. Wajo, Mr. Syamsudariadi, ST., MT. which explains directly how to make environmentally friendly liquid soap.
“One of the things that is currently trending is the way of selling and the selling style that is the hallmark of the region,” said Mr. Lurah Tetebatu when opening the event.
The women in the Tetebatu Village seemed very enthusiastic about this program, with the hope that in the future they can build the Tetebatu Village which makes the liquid soap branding.
