Makassar, February 12, 2025 – SMA Islam Athirah Makassar once again held a campus observation activity by visiting the Industrial Engineering Department of Hasanuddin University (Unhas). This activity aims to provide students with insight into the world of lectures and study prospects in the field of industrial engineering.
This visit was welcomed enthusiastically by the Industrial Engineering Unhas. The students were given a presentation of material by lecturers related to the role of industrial engineering in various sectors, the learning system on campus, and career opportunities after graduation. In addition, Unhas Industrial Engineering students also shared their experiences about lectures and life on campus.
After the presentation session, the students were invited to visit various facilities at Industrial Engineering Unhas, including laboratories and practice rooms. This aims to provide them with a real picture of the application of industrial engineering in the world of work.
According to one of the students who participated in this activity, campus observation provides many benefits for those who are still considering study options after graduating from high school.
“I feel very helped by this activity. I understand more about Industrial Engineering and future job prospects. This visit further motivates me to continue my studies here,” said one of the students.
This observation activity is expected to help students of SMA Islam Athirah Makassar in determining the major that suits their interests and talents. In addition, this kind of visit also strengthens the relationship between high schools and universities in supporting higher quality education.
