13-16 December 2021, Gowa. ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) conducted an online field assessment and attended offline from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Department of Mining Engineering, and Department of Marine Engineering.
The field assessment process was officially opened online, which was attended by the Chancellor of Unhas Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA. who directly expressed his gratitude for the international accreditation assessment was held again at Hasanuddin University. This proves that Hasanuddin University wants to continue to improve education both in terms of curriculum quality, educators, and even facilities that can support the lecture process.
“As one of the largest and fastest growing universities in Indonesia, Unhas now has 212 study programs ranging from diplomas, bachelors, masters, doctorates, professions, to specialists. The number of students is around 40,000, of whom consist of about 25,000 undergraduate students. In essence, the quality of ASIIN accreditation procedures is in line with Unhas’ strategic goal to be recognized internationally,” explained Prof. Dwia via zoom.
In its implementation, as many as seven auditors from ASIIN consist of:

With the visitation assessment, Mr. Dr. Ir. Saiful, ST., MT. as the Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Hasanuddin University, hopes that the results of the ASIIN Accreditation will allow the Department of Industrial Engineering to further develop in terms of the quality of education, teaching staff, and supporting facilities in the lecture process.
