Wednesday (29/6/2022) the Department of Industrial Engineering Unhas held a Guest Lecture from Kalla Beton with the theme “Inventory Management for Competitive Advantage”. Through this theme, you can hold discussions with Kalla Beton, students, and lecturers at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Unhas who control the supply and demand that occurs at Kalla Beton.
Unhas Industrial Engineering students, both undergraduate and postgraduate students, were very enthusiastic about this activity, with this activity they could imagine what would happen in the field by applying existing inventory control science. That way, we can build cooperation between Kalla Beton and the Department of Industrial Engineering Unhas
Mr. Ali Syamsu Wairooy as a speaker at the event also gave an idea of how to control inventory at Kalla Beton, especially during the time of COVID-19 which greatly affected supply and demand which greatly decreased at that time. Therefore, Mr. Ali Syamsu Wairooy as Chief Operating Officer of Kalla Beton was pleased to be able to have direct discussions with Industrial Engineering Students of Unhas and Lecturers of the Industrial Engineering Department of Unhas which he experienced with Kalla Beton.
Final words from Mr. Ali Syamsu Wairooy, would like to invite the Industrial Engineering Students of Unhas to be able to join an internship at Kalla Beton, so that they can discuss and see directly from the inventory control of Kalla Beton.
