Makassar, April 21, 2025 — The 2025 Hasanuddin University Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmpares) has officially ended with proud results for the Faculty of Engineering. Two students from the Industrial Engineering Study Program, class of 2022, have successfully made brilliant achievements in this prestigious event.
Puan Maharani won 2nd place, while Muh. Adib Mapparaga secured 3rd place in the competition which is a place to find the best students from all faculties at Hasanuddin University. Their success is real proof of the contribution of Industrial Engineering students in academics, organizations, and community service.
Pilmpares Unhas 2025 was attended by dozens of participants from various faculties who had passed strict selection stages, starting from the faculty to university level. The assessment covers various aspects, such as academic achievement, creative ideas, communication skills, and involvement in social activities and leadership.
“This achievement is the result of hard work and support from many parties, especially from friends and supervising lecturers. Hopefully it can be an inspiration for other students,” said Puan Maharani after receiving the award.
Meanwhile, Muh. Adib Mapparaga expressed his gratitude and hope that Engineering students can continue to actively innovate and work for the campus and society.
This achievement further strengthens the position of Industrial Engineering as one of the study programs that consistently produces superior and highly competitive students in the university arena.
